The nail is composed by stainless steel nail and soft plastic shell.  As the screw enters the pre-drilled hole, the soft material of the plug expands conforming tightly to the wall material. Such anchors can attach one object to another in situations where screws, nails, adhesives, or other simple fasteners are either impractical or ineffective.

Installation Steps:

1, Drill a hole in the base material with a hammer drill and a correctly sized carbide drill bit for the anchor you are using.

2, Clean out the hole of all debris.

3, Insert the sigle expansion anchor into the hole and tap the fastener lightly with a hammer to ensure it is flush with the base material. 

4, Set the fixture over the single expansion anchor and insert the properly sized machine bolt/screw through the fixture and into the anchor.
